Officials probe hotel death of city man, Tech student. Dallas County medical examiners are investigating the deaths of an 18- year-old Lubbock man and a 23-year- old Texas Tech University student from Dalhart who were found dead in an Irving motel room Monday afternoon. Kurt E. Adams of 5430 Seventh St. and Finnice Seitz of Dalhart were found about 1 p.m. Monday by a maintenance man at the motel. A spokesman for the Dallas County Medical Examiner's office said a ruling in the two men's deaths is being withheld pending results of tests. He said no signs of struggle or injury were evident. Services for Adams will be at 3 p.m. Thursday in Bowman.Chapei of First United Methodist Church with Dr. Sam Nader officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Adams was born Nov. 1, 1964, in Lubbock and had attended Coronado High School. He was a member of Redbud Baptist Church and a former member of First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard E. Adams of Lubbock; a brother, Grant of the home; his paternal grandmother, Margaret Adams of Roscoe; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Franz Fuerlinger of Austria. The family requests memorials to a favorite charity.
